Book discounted gorilla trekking permits this November
Whenever it clocks to November every year, many primate lovers especially those who love gorilla trekking rush to book their permits. The reason for this is to reduce their safari costs in order to save some money for other activities. It should be noted that the Uganda Wildlife Authority introduced the discounted gorilla tracking permits in low seasons like November and unlike in other months in which they are sold at USD600, in November they are sold at USD350.

While planning for a tracking trip to Uganda, a tourist is advised to ensure that he/she is well informed of the various costs that he/she will incur while on the safari and gorilla trekking permit costs is key while budgeting for a trip. Some visitors don’t take their time while planning and they end up spending on things they never planned for and this in the longrun leads to waste of money and some end up failing to meet their needs while in the foreign country.
Gorilla permits in Uganda are issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority at their offices in Kampala and tourists are advised to book atleast 4 weeks before their trip since its competitive to obtain a gorilla permit especially during the peak season. Even during the low seasons like in November, it’s better to book for the permits to avoid inconveniences and also give enough time to the tour company to book and organize the safari.
It should be noted that gorilla tracking is the best selling tor activity and it’s the number one attraction in the country which attracts people from different parts of the world. Since there are only three countries in the world where theses primates can be trekked namely; Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, Uganda stands out as the best destination for primate lovers because it has the highest number of gorillas with an estimate of 450 primates. A walk through Bwindi Impenetrable National Park found in western Uganda is a life-changing experience as one gets a chance of encountering with the gorillas and other hard-to –find mammals.

One thing a tourist should have in mind that unless he/she has obtained a gorilla trekking permit, he/she will not be allowed to track the primates in their natural habitats.
