Day 1: Kigali Capital to Akagera National Park – 2 and a half hours’ drive.

Day 2 of 3 days: Game drive & a launch cruise.
Day 2 of the 3 Days Akagera Wildlife Safari is packed with classic Rwanda wildlife safari activities. After an early breakfast, you will head out on a guided game drive in Akagera National Park.
The morning game drive usually lasts 2–3 hours, giving you time to explore the savanna tracks, spot different wildlife species, and take photographs.
Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a boat or launch cruise on Lake Ihema, which offers a completely different perspective on the park.
From the water, you can see large numbers of hippos and crocodiles, numerous waterbirds, and sometimes elephants and antelopes coming to drink at the shoreline.
