Uganda is still a Safe Tourism Destination in Africa

Uganda is still a Safe Tourism Destination in Africa

Uganda is still a safe tourism destination in Africa despite the Ebola outbreak. Despite the outbreak of Ebola, Uganda remains a safe tourism destination in Africa for travelers to explore and experience her natural endowment. The government of Uganda is committed to containing the spread of Ebola and although there is an outbreak of this pandemic, it is not throughout the country like some global media have put it.

There are about 2 districts that have been affected that is Mubende and Kassanda. Not to further spread this pandemic, the two districts are under lockdown. This means the movement of people has been restricted thus helping in the fight against this deadly pandemic. All foreign travelers are assured of safety while on Uganda safaris and everyone is encouraged to observe the Ministry of Health safety measures.

The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) also restated that destination Uganda is safe and you can plan your Uganda safari tour, and visit and explore Uganda’s magical National Parks plus other iconic destinations.
