Day 1: Kampala to Jinja with en-route stopover at Ssezibwa falls.

Enjoy a leisurely cup of tea or coffee and after, meet your Uganda safari guide at the hotel in Kampala capital. Leave Kampala for your ultimate adrenaline adventure in Jinja, driving for 85km. En-route stopover will be made at the Ssezibwa waterfalls, a scenic area and also a valuable historical and cultural site.

From Ssezibwa, drive to Jinja in Eastern Uganda navigating via the lush Mabira Forest Reserve. If time allows, make another stopover here for you to have a rewarding guided nature walk. Mabira forest is a compact rainforest, one of its kind natural forests that still exist on African continent. It is found between Kampala and Jinja, inhabiting unique primates like mangabeys, red tailed monkeys and also different bird species.

Proceed to Jinja on a scenic journey as you view the extensive sugarcane plantations. You will cross the new bridge to connect up to your hotel/lodge that was pre-booked by your safari leader on ground.

Later in the afternoon after you have had lunch, embark on a sunset boat cruise along the Source of the Nile to Samuka Island. Samuka Island is a significant breeding spot for numerous bird species. After the boat ride, get back and have a leisurely time at the hotel or lodge.

Day 2: Whitewater rafting in Jinja & departure.

After breakfast, set off on half-day whitewater rafting adventure on the Source of the Nile. First, you will be briefed about this adventure and the official will supply a life jacket, helmets and other essential rafting gear to all participants.

Later, start the actual rafting on the beautiful Nile River. This allows you to explore grade 3 and for those of you who may need something more adventurous, consider conquering the toughest grades 4 and 5.

Once you are done experiencing the rapids on the Nile River, get back and have a relaxed moment, lunch and then check out. Later, start driving back to Kampala city and today marks the end of this special adventure package.
