Buligi Game tracks

Buligi game tracks/trail is one of the best game driving tracks known to offer unforgettable game viewing experiences in Murchison Falls National Park. The game track is 7kms from North of Paraa and extends to cover up to 160kms.

On Buligi game track, the likely wildlife sightings to enjoy include giraffes, hartebeests, buffaloes, leopards, reedbucks, gazelles, bush bucks, birds and more. It is a prime wildlife viewing spot, also has distinct vegetation ranging from savanna grasslands, riverine, acacia and woodland.

Buligi circuit converges at the Delta point and this is where the Victoria Nile flows North out of L. Albert. Exploring this game trail may take 3-4 hours but you have lots of surprising animal sightings in your 4×4 safari vehicle. Chobe track

Queen’s trail

Queen’s game track is 13kms long Murchison Falls safari trail and it connects the Victoria and Albert tracks. The game track exposes nature lovers on a game drive to diversity of wildlife and bird species.

Albert game trail

The Albert game track extends up to the Albert Nile offering not only an amazing views of wildlife but also that of the Albert Nile. Majority of wildlife can be spotted while taking water. The game track also links to other game tracks like Pakuba and Buligi.

Pakuba game trail

Pakuba trail is 17kms running parallel to the Albert Nile, linking the Buligi trail to Tangi gate. It is ideal game trail for visitors whose accommodation is outside Murchison Falls National Park or when exiting or entering the park. Like other tracks, Pakuba never disappoints when it comes to wildlife sightings.

T’ebito game trail

Found near the top of Murchison Falls, the Te’bito game track is normally used for tourists visiting the top of the falls. It is used during drop-off or pick up and also, it links to the Chobe track or if you want to access Wankwar gate.

 The Southern Bank

The Southern bank of Murchison Falls National Park currently has the Honeymoon game track as a newly established Murchison Falls safari trail. This is a 22kms long game track and usually, lions can be spotted.

From Kampala capital, accessing Murchison Falls National Park takes a 5-6 hours’ drive and for all visitors on Uganda safaris, a 4WD vehicle is recommended for all road trips.

Over 76 mammal species range in the different habitats of Murchison Falls National Park making it an ideal game viewing destination.
