This fly-in safari is a perfect option for those of you with limited time meaning instead of spending 8-9 hours on the road, you can spend only 2 hours to get to your destination.

The fly-in gorilla habituation experience means your trip begins at Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airfield and the landing point will be Kihihi or Kisoro airfield. From Kihihi/Kisoro, you will be transferred safely in a 4×4 safari vehicle up to your accommodation option for a night stay.

Brief Itinerary -3 Day Fly-in Gorilla Habituation Adventure

Day 1: Fly to Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip

Pick up at the hotel within Entebbe city and take a safe drive in a 4WD with an experienced driver guide from Maranatha Tours and Travel. Catch up with the morning flight to Kihihi or Kisoro airfield, expecting to take about 2 hours.

Enjoy aerial views of the countryside and on arrival, meet a local driver for transfer to your gorilla safari lodge. At the lodge, the main thing will be for you to chill, enjoy dinner, and retire for the night.

Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, report at the Rushaga sector to get briefed about gorilla habituation guidelines. The park official will be available to also assign you a team to lead you through a search for group and will be a long day of following these apes, observing how they behave and taking pictures. A maximum of 4 hours will be dedicated for you and your colleagues to stay face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas.
