Gorilla trekking in Uganda is done in the tropical rainforests of Bwindi and Mgahinga National Parks while as in Rwanda its only done in Volcanoes National Park. The best time to go gorilla trekking in both Uganda and Rwanda is during the dry seasons. This is because this is the time when the roads to the various parks where the primates are found are in good conditions and are less risky compared to the wet season when they are muddy and slippery.
