3 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari – Murchison Falls Tour is an awesome opportunity to participate in wildlife viewing, sightseeing, launch cruise, and hiking on the top of the falls.

You will participate in an early morning game drive where you will stand an opportunity to see the big five. The river at the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and flows down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos, crocodiles, and buffaloes. It is such an amazing park with a variety of wildlife including the leopards, giraffes, hartebeests, Uganda Kob, and rear bird species including the rare shoebill stork.

Detailed Itinerary 3 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Kampala- Murchison Falls

You will be picked from your hotel then depart Kampala early morning taking a panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero triangle. Stopover at Ziwa  Rhino Sanctuary was created by the Rhino Fund Uganda for the breeding of Rhinos which will later be re-introduced into Uganda’s Protected Areas.

Enjoy Rhino tracking in beautiful surroundings and more wildlife present on the ranch including bushbuck, leopard, Uganda Kob. Have lunch then continue to Murchison falls national park.

Day 2 – Game Drives & Launch Cruise

After early morning breakfast, you participate in an early morning game drive within the park. Expect to see the big four animals including Buffalo, lion, and Elephant leopard. You will also spot the giraffe, antelopes, and a number of bird species. Return to the lodge after the early morning game drive until lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go and participate in a launch trip up the Nile. Here you will get a chance to see water animals like the Nile crocodiles, Hippos, and a number of water birds.

Day 3- Return To Kampala

After a leisurely breakfast, visit the top of the falls before returning to Kampala. The Trails around the top of the falls go right up to the water’s edge.

Get an opportunity to hike to the top of the falls from the boat landing and to get to the narrow gorge through which the river explodes into the falls. Campsites, picnic sites, and walking safaris are available.
