Where does Gorilla habituation take place in Uganda
A gorilla habituation experience in Uganda is the most thrilling remarkable experience activity which took place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Gorilla habituation is the process where wild mountain gorillas get used to the presence of humans.
In Uganda, gorilla habituation is the newly born activity that Uganda Wildlife Authority has introduced in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the southern region in Rushaga sector in early 2014. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is the only world’s gorillas National Park where gorilla habituation experience took place with only two gorilla families which are habituated for habituation process, Bikyingi gorilla family and Bushaho gorilla family.
Bikyingi Gorilla group is located in Rushaga area in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with 21 members including 1 silverback 9 adult females 2 sub adults and 9 infants and this is where the famous Gorilla Habituation Experience is conducted. And Bushaho gorilla family is located in the southern sector in Nkuringo area with 8 individuals including 1 silverback known as Bahati, 3 adult females, 1 black back, 1 sub-adult, 1 juvenile, and 2 toddlers and is led by a supreme silverback called Bahati who was formerly a member of Nkuringo gorilla family,

Such an incredible experience activity has attracted more travelers since you spend much more time with mountain gorillas of about 4 hours than gorilla trekking where you spend 1 hour. A maximum of four visitors is allowed to partake in a gorilla habituation experience per day per family, which is to say 8 permits are sold per day.
