1 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour From Kigali
The 1 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour From Kigali involves tourists exploring the Bwindi Impenetrable or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Unlike other safaris that start from Uganda, this one is exceptional because it begins and ends from Kigali Town in Rwanda.
1 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour From Kigali is the most interesting, cost effective and very convenient for tourists within Rwanda but have limited time for a longer trip and are travelling on budget.
This excursion is definitely the ideal replacement for the 1 day Rwanda gorilla trekking tour because you will use less time when you travel from Kigali to the National Park (Bwindi or Mgahinga) but most importantly spend less money on gorilla permits ($600 instead of the $1500 charged for the same activity in Rwanda).
Trip Itinerary: 1 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour From Kigali
Because the journey lasts from 3 to 4 hours to travel to the National Park, you will be required to wake up and get prepared to be picked up as early as 3:00am by the driver guide. You will then be transferred from Kigali City to Kisoro Town via the Cyanika border or to Kabale via the Katuna border.
By 7am you will be at the Park Headquarters for the pre-tracking briefing on the gorilla trekking guidelines. Hiking into the jungles in search of the gorilla family you were allocated to starts at 8am.
You will trek from half an hour to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family but you are allowed to spend only one hour with these Giant Apes.
After one hour of interacting, taking photographs and excitement, you will then ascend to the starting point then transfer to Kigali-to your hotel or for the return flight.
