A trip to Uganda and Rwanda
The republic of Uganda and Rwanda can be visited at any time throughout the year and both have got tropical climates with average temperatures sitting at 42 C during the day and 12 C at night with the hottest months ranging  from December to February.They are luxurious countries with dense jungle, mountains, stunning scenery, dense jungle and a natural frontier of majestic volcanoes though, Uganda is a landlocked in the heart of Africa and  a place of scenic beauty with rolling hills, rugged mountains and huge rivers and lakes. Wherever you roam, you are sure to find abundant wildlife, a kaleidoscope of landscapes and diverse cultures at every turn.

Useful Information for Rwanda and Uganda
Uganda is a home to the mighty source of River Nile and is approximately half of the world’s surviving population of Mountain Gorillas. These endangered animals live in the rain forests at elevations between 1520m and 3650m and contrary to popular belief, are not ferocious but are actually shy, gentle creatures and highly intelligent.

Uganda’s capital Kampala is set among hills with fine and modern architecture, tree- lined avenues, mosques and cathedrals with the old Kingdome of Buganda, and the Uganda Museum. Well, the Kabaka’s Tombs are on Kasubi Hill and shoes must be removed before entering the buildings. The Town of Jinja, which is the second – largest town in Uganda lies on the shores of Lake Victoria. And while in this town you will see the source of the Nile at the nearby ownen Falls Dam.

The main entry to Uganda for air travelers, Entebbe International Airport has got fine botanical gardens and a lakeside beach, although bathing is not advisable because of the dangers of bilharzia.The town of Fort Portal is a good base for exploring the Ruwenzori Mountains, the hot springs at Bundibugyo and the Semlike Wildlife Reserve. For Muhavura mountain climbers, Kisoro is the starting point for climbing expedition and offers great potential for fishing.

When to Go:
Uganda can be visited any time through the year; however some activities like mountain bikes, gorilla tracking and other forest walks are quiet challenging when it rains and in case you intend to hike on the mountains will be exposed to alpine temperatures.
